Wearingeul - Cowardly Lion

Wearingeul - Cowardly Lion, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

A new addition to my favourite brown inks collection - this is Cowardly Lion, a fountain pen ink from the wonderful Korean brand Wearingeul. Cowardly Lion, from their Wizard of Oz themed inks, is a gorgeous deep brown colour. It’s somewhere between a milk chocolate and some of that rich coffee crema. There is SO MUCH SHADING, and it’s so warm in tone that of course it’s an absolute winner in my books. I also found it to write wonderfully - it’s not too dry or wet imo.

I chose to put this ink in my Monteverde Regatta with an Omniflex nib, and boy was the ink gorgeous. The flexing really gets to show off the shading consistently.
I think this is a wonderfully gorgeous darker brown colour, and may even be a contender to my favourite Montblanc Toffee Brown.
