Jacques Herbin - Emerald of Chivor

(Jacques Herbin - Emerald of Chivor - Aurorealis, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

Today’s fountain pen ink is one of the first I heard lots of good things about, back when I started getting into the fountain pen world. That is was a stunning colour, that the sheening and the shimmer was just perfect to go with it.

Now that I have my hands on a sample, I agree. It’s so gorgeous.

In the same vein however, I did hear a lot of people mention the Ferris Wheel Press Edwards Gardens is basically a dupe of the colour (side note: duping inks is such a funny term to hear, since the term is so common in the cosmetic industry).

I think the combination of the colour, sheen, and shimmer is stunning and very unique. I think it’s definitely worth picking up a sample, just to see if the ink is up your alley :)

I didn’t have any issues writing with it in my Cursive nib example here.
