Sailor - 343

The ink of today is a dusty navy blue!

(Sailor - 343, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

This ink is a pretty shade of navy blue, fairly desaturated and dusty. The lovely friend who gave me the sample mentioned it being a favourite colour of theirs, which is a fun reminder for why there’s just so many inks! So everyone who has different taste can find inks they like.

The ink is very well behaved, and has a lot of shading. It’s not my personal cup of tea (I think I like vibrant or odd blues - a comparison type post will be up soon), but it’s a solid choice for those wanting a very business friendly blue ink.

For my writing example I wanted to toss it into an extra fine ink, to see how legible it could be. It’s pretty good considering how fine a nib it is, and how tiny I was writing here!
