The Benu x Goulet Iced Caramel Latte Euphoria Fountain Pen

Today we have a mouth watering fountain pen, that I have been absolutely LUSTING for. It’s the Iced Caramel Latte Euphoria from Benu and Goulet.

Despite lusting for the pen, I never really got around to it (I think the shipping to Canada was not exciting). Then, I saw another exclusive Benu at Goulet - the Confetti Milkshake - and so I purchased both. At the same time. My wallet was not impressed, LOL.

The pen is a gorgeous mixture of a creamy caramel colour, a dark brown with shimmer, and a white resin mixture to cap it off (ayoooo). There’s large speckles of gold foil mixed through as well, for that Benu shimmer many of us have grown to love.

I got mine with a Fine nib, and it’s a lovely nib. There is a bit of bounce to the nib, so I find it much nicer with cursive than with printing. My perfectionism can be a bit… unpleased with different line width when printing.

Here’s the unboxing video of the pen, if you’re so inclined to watch.

In terms of the buying experience, the team at Goulet were super lovely to deal with! I did leave a note asking for both of the pens I purchased to be tested before being shipped to me, just in case there was any issues (so I didn’t have to ship it back). They said yes, and it still shipped out fast!

The one downside (which isn’t their fault), was the astronomical duty and tax I had to pay for this one - a bit of a surprise. Standard shipping to Canada was I believe $28USD at the time of purchase. When it was on my way to me via Fedex, I did have to pay about $104 in duty and taxes, which did drastically shoot up the cost for both my pens LOL.
