A Glass Dip Pen from GlasLiebmann

A photograph of a glass dip pen, leaning on an orange candle holder.

Another glass dip pen to my collection! This time from GlasLiebMann on Etsy, an individual glassblower from Munich. This pen is an extra fine, and came quite quickly from Munich all the way to Canada!

This glass dip pen I got by the recommendation from @inkynotesbyianee on Instagram - I saw one of her posts where she used the pen and honestly fell in love with the little round ball at the end for ink swatching.

The round ball end of the pen is fantastic for swatching. Previously I was using the back end of my Moonman glass dip pen I bought from Jetpens a few years ago, but it has been itchier and scratchier now that I have something to compare it to. I can’t wait to do my swatches with this pen now!

The writing tip is very, very fine - it’s still lovely to write with.

Do I need more glass dip pens? I mean, does anyone need more stationery? No, in our material world of consumerism and goods, we don’t need more things. But the things make us happy - and our stationery hoard grows and grows. We sit and stare, admiring the precious pretties and trinkets. And I swear I’m not turning into Gollum.

Also, it is nice to buy the item from an independent artist.

PS: This post wasn’t sponsored in anyway - I purchased the pen with my own money and just love it very much!
