Private Reserve - Copper Burst

(Private Reserve - Copper Burst, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

I think this colour is really pretty, especially on the extremely warm toned Midori paper. It’s also so interesting that on the Tomoe River paper it’s suddenly SO cool toned?? I’m not sure why it reacted that way, but it is cool.

I had issues with feathering, most noticeable on the Tomoe River, but also the Kokuyo. The oh so consistent Midori held up for this ink, and worked really well. Rhodia worked well, also.

IMPORTANT NOTE for the below lol, I swatched and posed the cards next to the ink bottle, but later re-swatched them with the paper now cut as squares. Soooo, I didn’t want to have to colour correct four more pictures. But that’s why these ink splotches look different :)

Writing Sample

Writing sample is still to come, but surprisingly, in this writing sample I only had a smidgey of feathering, despite it being from a broad nib. Which confuses me greatly, LOL, but I think if you come across the ink for a good price, it’s worth finangling with!
