Diamine - Merry & Bright | Inkvent 2023
Hello! For day sixteen of the Diamine Inkvent 2023 we’re greeted with another lovely shimmer.
Let’s get bedazzled again!
Merry and Bright is a radically bright green ink. The colour reminds me of green jello, green apples, and that green slime that Nickelodeon used to dump on people (speaking of, does anyone remember that Legends of the Hidden Temple Show? I used to watch it all the time on YTV - the Canadian equivalent of Nickelodeon). It’s a darker green compared to Appletini from last year’s Diamine Inkvent calendar, and also features shimmer this time around. That is to say, if you have both calendars it’s not a duplicate!
The silver shimmer works pretty well with the green colouring - it has the vibes of garlands and tinsel you might hang around the house.
With the silver shimmer, it’s a very gorgeous colour - and looks especially pretty with the glass dip pen on the swatch sample below. I think the colour is a little too whackadoodle bright to use frequently in my pens, but I can definitely see it making an appearing in cards or during an ink roulette.
