I’m elated to share this post today! As a gift from my partner for our anniversary, he gave me one of the Sailor pens that truly activates my feral goblin hunting for shinies mode - the beautiful Sailor x Yoseka Refresh, in a stunning medium nib.

The body of the pen is a beautiful soft minty blue, with just the most subtle silver shimmer. The finials are a pinky coral, with the Yoseka logo on the top finial.

Of course, I had to it up right away so the photo of the nib already has some ink on it, hehe. The engraving on the nib is so detailed and absolutely stunning.

As my first Sailor pen, I’m quite happy with the amount of feedback and toothiness while writing. The ink you’re seeing in the above writing sample, and accompanying handwriting video, is Troublemaker Inks in Milky Ocean (which I have swatches of here).

This certainly is an expensive pen, and currently the most expensive one in my collection. It’s really a luxury to write with, though like with any pen, how much you enjoy writing with the pen is ultimately up to each individual and their taste. I personally like the toothiness when writing with the pen, it kind of reminds me of using a pencil.
