Taccia - Benizakura

(Taccia - Benizakura, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

We’ve got a fairly standard red ink today. Benizakura is a vibrant red ink with a little bit of golden sheen to it, though only visible in the large swatch pools. It reminds me of Yama Budo in that way—the sheen is so pretty but also so sneaky. To me it’s just a red ink, a bit too standard for me IMO. I guess I really am a ho for shading LOL.

Writing Sample

Writing sample here is using a TWSBI Diamond Mini in Rose Gold, sporting an extra fine nib. And yes, sadly there’s a little crack and staining :(

Shortly after staining, I did buy the TWSBI refill pipe.

The ink has a fairly decent flow to it, and it leans slightly to the wetter side of things. It’s not an ink for me, but if you’re looking for a good, well behaved red ink, this may the one for you!
