Sailor Manyo Ink - Nekoyanagi

Another floral inspired Sailor Manyo ink, this time in the wonderful Nekoyanagi shade.

Let’s see the swatches!

Nekoyanagi is a beautiful multishading ink. With a soft and ethereal medium blue colour, in larger pools the multishading really shines in large swathes of a bright purple - nearly a lavender in lighter sections. The multishading shows even on the Rhodia paper, which is a delightful surprise. I am disappointed that it didn’t seem to show prominently on the Kokuyo paper.

The closest ink I have to this one is Troublemaker Inks in Milky Ocean, but this ink is much darker, and much more purple. This ink is likely more accessible to most, since Sailor is a very large brand. I adore this ink, and can’t wait to ink up a pen with it!
