Pelikan Edelstein - Golden Lapis

My very first Pelikan ink! This is Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis, their ink of the year for 2024. Pelikan is a staple of the fountain pen industry, one of the classic companies that has a large amount of vintage pens (seriously, I think at every pen club meet up I’ve been to has a lot of people with at least a vintage Pelikan).
I don’t generally discuss bottles because I don’t always have them LOL, but this bottle feels like luxury oh my God. It’s heavy, the cap is lovely and weighted, and the bottle is so sturdy because of the design that there’s no worries of it wobbling around.
Anyways, ink colour - Golden Lapis is a brilliant royal blue with golden shimmer and red sheen. There does appear to be shading present in the ink as well, so the ink is an all around heavy hitter in terms of non-stand features.
