Organics Studio - Nitrogen

Today’s fountain pen ink is a new one for the site (though very much discussed online). We have Organics Studio in Nitrogen! I was lucky enough to buy it second hand locally here in Vancouver.

Let’s get into it.

I’ve seen Nitrogen discussed on the Fountain Pens subreddit a lot, similarly to KWZ Sheen Machine. It’s a dark blue with pink and purple sheen - to the hundreth degree. Seriously, if you take a look at the angled close up photo of the sample on Tomoe River, the amount of sheen has covered the ink itself.

The sheen is visible on all the papers sampled, surprisingly. Even on Rhodia is there a LOT of sheen. It hasn’t yet stained anything of mine, but I hear that it smudges even years later for other people. If you want one similar but a little less intense, I’d suggest Diamine in Jalur Gemilang or Skull & Roses (though those are more difficult to acquire - I think you can get this one at Vanness pens in the states).
