Ferris Wheel Press - Pumpkin Patch
Today’s post is a fountain pen ink from Canadian brand Ferris Wheel Press, in the shade Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkin Patch is a pretty true to it’s name orange colour, one that makes me already jazzed for the fall season (though admittedly I’m much more of a Christmas and winter holidays kind of gal). The ink has a lovely amount of shading, and has behaved well for me in even extra fine nibs.
Here’s a little sample video of me writing with this ink using my Kaweco Sport with an extra fine nib, on an old Hobonichi planner that uses the original Tomoe River paper. The ink is quite saturated, and easily legible. Would I re-use it again? Maybe, when I hit that sort of orange streak again. That’s not a slight against the ink, more just my personal opinion.
