Diamine - Pick Me Up | Inkvent 2022
Day 15 of the Diamine 2022 inkvent calendar is a scented and sheening fountain pen ink.
Let’s get into it.
I’ll start with the colour. Pick Me Up is a dark brown ink with a generous amount of green sheening to it. The ink is very wet, and there was feathering even with my extra fine glass dip pen. I think it’s incredibly similar to Diamine Kopi O Kaw, barring the scent - which I’ll get to next.
Full disclosure - I don’t have the best sense of smell - it’s a long story.
So, I’m not really able to pick up what scent this ink is supposed to be. It kind of smelled like chocolate to me, though I think there was something maybe minty to it? Or at least something that was really strong.
