Ferris Wheel Press - Lady Rose

The fountain pen being showed off today is Lady Rose, a dusty and muted pink colour from Canadian brand, Ferris Wheel Press. As far as I’ve seen on social media, I believe this ink was (perhaps still is) a favourite among Ferris Wheel Press’ standard ink colours.

The ink behaves well, but definitely leans a smidge more dry. Despite the pale appearance, I do find the ink to be quite legible even in an extra fine nib (example below in my TWSBI Diamond Mini). It’s not an ink I’d buy a full bottle of personally, but only because I’m not in love with the colour. Nothing wrong with the ink or colour - the feminine vintage vibes are lovely - I just have a lot of other options :)

I read it in one vvv long hair appointment, and I think I even watched the 2014 film. I enjoyed the book when I read it, and I’ll probably go and rewatch the film. #stationery #plannercommunity #mydesk #ferriswheelpress #twsbi #handwriting #booktok ♬ Monsters, Inc - Gustav Lundgren & Unit
