Diamine - Writer’s Blood | r/fountainpens

A photo of the 30mL size bottle of Diamine 'Writer's Blood' in front of multiple photo props.

This ink from Diamine was made thanks to the folks at the r/fountainpens subreddit!

Let’s get into it.

Writer’s Blood is a dark red ink that has a bit of shading, and a wee bit of gold sheening on Tomoe River paper. The ink, in my experience, is a really wet writer. I don’t find myself gravitating towards the colour often, but that’s more a thing of my colour preference than anything :)

Other r/fountainpens colours are Earl Grey (a medium grey), Aurora Borealis (a dark teal), Celadon Cat (a grey-teal), and Sailors Warning (a coral with purple shimmer).
