Kyo No Oto - Sakuranezumi

(Kyo No Oto - Sakuranezumi, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

Kyo No Oto inks are funny - they remind me of Kyo Iro inks in the way they dry (at least a bit). Just that slight look of coagulation. The ink is a standard one (no shimmer or sheen), though it does have shading.

Sakuranezumi is a dark purple ink, on the muted side. I’d say it’s like a desaturated Ferris Wheel Press Grape Ice Pop, if I had to compare it to something in my collection.

Sakuranezumi isn’t a bad writer, though I’d say it leans to the drier side of the gradient bar, at least in my extra fine TWSBI. I can’t say I’d find myself reaching for the ink again personally, I think I want my purples to be much more saturated or ~unique feeling.
