Ferris Wheel Press - Stroke of Midnight

The fountain pen ink from Ferris Wheel Press for today is from a Holiday 2021 collection, though I have mine through the Book of Fascinations 2 box. The ink name is Stroke of Midnight, and it’s a dark navy blue - reminiscent of dark wash jeans. It has a tiny amount of red sheening to it, but the main standout for the ink is the combo of gold and silver shimmer.

@paperemm Happy new year! I’m really glad I started posting this year, it’s been a lot of fun playing around with my stationery! And the fountain pen community is so warm and inviting. Stroke of Midnight to me is a fairly standard ink - the shimmer is a nice touch, and it’s a pleasant surprise to have blue inks that aren’t quite royal blue. However, for me personally it doesn’t have enough uniqueness or visible shading and shimmer to beat out the current inks I have to ink it up in a pen for long (like a few weeks) time.

It does write nicely with a glass dip pen, which you can see in the little example video here :)
