Ferris Wheel Press - Strawberry Macaron
Today’s fountain pen ink is a pastel pink - Strawberry Macaron - by Canadian stationery brand Ferris Wheel Press.
I have such mixed feelings about this colour. It’s beautiful, it’s stunning - the colour that young me would have loved to have on bedsheets and canopies like a real pretty princess. The pastel pink colour is soft, and is so warm and inviting in these large swatches.
However, it’s just not a feasible ink in a pen in my opinion.
I haven’t inked it up yet in my one double broad nib (though when I do, I’ll be sure to include photos and edit this post) - but with a glass dip pen even I struggle to capture the ink on camera, and my old eyes sometimes struggle to see it.
It’s definitely a beautiful ink for painting with, though!
