Ferris Wheel Press - Steeped Umber | Finer Things Collection
This ink from Ferris Wheel Press is Steeped Umber, the darkest ink of the trio from the Finer Things collection - the other two inks are Oyster Hour and Spruce County Post.
The ink is a lovely, warm dark brown. It’s got a decent amount of shading to it, especially in those large swatches. I do love this ink - it’s dark and easy to read, and there’s something about it that’s so warm and inviting.
Wanting to love and appreciate this ink more, I have inked it up in my Benu Briolette Amber pen with an <EF> nib. I haven’t experienced any dryness at all - the ink performs wonderfully.
This ink really is tied for first place, alongside Spruce County Post for my favourite of the collection.
