Diamine - Jalur Gemilang | Pen Gallery Exclusive

This ink was a surprise gift from my dad! While picking up a bottle of Diamine Kopi O Kaw at my request, he also grabbed me this one (likely after telling the folks there that his daughter specifically wanted the Pengallery exclusive).

Let’s get into it.

Jalur Gemilang is a Diamine x Pen Gallery in Malaysia exclusive. The ink is a vibrant medium blue - leaning darker navy on paper like the Kokuyo and Rhodia, but a lighter sky blue on the edges of the Midori paper. It has a vibrant red sheen as seen on the Kokuyo paper, however the sheen is so powerful that it mixes into the ink and shows more of an overall purple sheen on the Midori and Tomoe River paper. I think colour wise it remind me of both Diamine Asa Blue, and Diamine Skull & Roses.

The ink name and colour is a commemoration of the Malaysian flag, as noted by the Pen Gallery site (not a sponsored link).
