Diamine - Asa Blue

A photo of a 30mL bottle of Diamine 'Asa Blue'.

Diamine Asa blue is a vibrant, light-medium blue that reminds me of postcards of the buildings along Santorini. It’s a beautiful, well-behaved ink.

Let’s get into it.

Asa Blue in a pen can appear much lighter - not quite the label on the bottle, but a lighter sky blue for sure. Once in large swatches, however, the ink pools to be a deeper and rich shade of blue. The ink features shading, and a decent amount of red sheening to the ink.
