Anderillium - Pompadour Cotinga Burgundy

Anderillium - Pompadour Cotinga Burgundy, swatched on a Col-O-Ring swatch card (design is a Yoseka Stationery stamp).

Pompadour Cotinga Burgundy is a dustier pinky-magenta with some funky sheen to it. There’s some shading to it, but it’s most prominent property in the large swatch is the sheening.

It did remind me of Handel from Diamine, in the muted pink with greenish-gold sheening to it on the large swatch. That might be an easier find for our non-American friends. Pompadour Cotinga Burgundy though, at least in writing, is certainly brighter and much more pink.

Writing Sample / Ink Review

This writing sample is using a TWSBI Diamond Mini <EF> in the Rose Gold V2 colourway.

The shading is present but quite soft overall. It’s not really my colour, but it is pretty. The flow was also good—not too dry or wet.
